What’s involved in the treatment?
| Consultation: | We’ll perform a thorough skin consultation to ensure that Dermal Micro-needling is the best treatment for you, and to establish if any skincare preparation is required. |
| Treatment: |
Your skin will be cleansed and a topical anaesthetic applied to numb the area. Once numb, your Aesthetician will move the device across the skin in small circular motions, adjusting the depth and speed of needle entry throughout depending on the treatment area and your skin’s response. After the treatment is complete we’ll apply a serum rich in growth factors to help your skin to recover as quickly as possible and reduce any redness. In total your treatment will take 1 hour. |
| Recovery: | After the treatment your skin is likely to be red – a little like sunburn – for 24-48 hours. You’ll be able to go about your day as normal but will need to ensure you are wearing sun protection, avoiding sun exposure and excessive sweating. |
| Treatment Course: | Treatments are usually performed in courses of 3-6 treatments, depending on the results we are looking to achieve. Treatments are performed 4-6 weeks apart. |
